WHY MOST FARMERS IN VILLAGES ARE HEALTHY WITH ONE OR NO HEALTH CHALLENGE.

In villages we see men and women of ages between 60 to 80 still strong without being placed on a daily drugs intake due to health issues. Most of them are still engaged in one strenuous work or the other. Some are farmers, and they still farm even at 90years of age.

Farmers from Wikipedia definition, is a person engaged in agriculture, raising living organisms for food or raw materials. When you look around our world today, you wonder why people of advance ages like 60 above even 50's are complaining of one health challenges or the other, Example of the health challenges people face at their advance ages include; Diabetes, arthritis, High Blood Pressure, Stroke, Cancer, etc. Have you ever wonder why most farmers no matter how old they are, still go to their farms and even looks more stronger?. Although, some farmers do have health challenges, but they are rare, and these rare occuring ones could be due to heredity, or gene mutation.

Below are some of the reason behind their strong bones and good health;

Consumption of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits:

A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check. In the cities people can't get fresh vegetables as quick as they want it, even fruits are so expensive, A mother with 5 kids can't purchase enough fruit that would be enough for her and her kids without thinking of other expenses which to her are more important than purchasing the fruits. But, the farmers who plant these fruits can easily get it at anytime from their farmlands, most of them who haven't plant the crop yet, can purchase from their fellow farmers at a low and affordable prices. Farmers rarely settles for junk foods.

Intake of Uncontaminated Air: The Air in the cities are contained with Carbon monoxide from vehicles, Chemicals from industries located around the cites contaminate the air people breath in, which may even lead to lungs cancer. There are green vegetation in the rural areas or villages than In the cities where all the trees and grasses are cleared off except those planted for beautification in some locations. These green plants takes in Carbon(iv)oxide which humans sent out as waste and sends out Oxygen which humans breathe. Don't you think people in the villages especially those who go to farms would breath in more fresh, clean air free from carbon-monoxide and other air contaminant?

Exercise: Exercise reduces the risk of getting most sickness, especially the risk of being Obese, having Type 2 diabetes etc. People in the Villages always love to engage in farm work even if is a small garden at their backyard, farming needs alot of energy which burns alot of calories, these people who engage in these farm work rarely complains of joints pains, cause of the farming and most times the long distance they cover by walking do strengthen their bones, Unlike Most people in the city who don't even know where the gym is located around them.

Low Intake of Carbonated Drinks: 

Having a low intake of these carbonated drinks, reduces the chance of having most health challenges such as obesity, poor nutrition, heartburn, diabetes and others. Most farmers lost alot of water while working, so they take in alot of water which aids digestion, Prevents dehydration, gets rid of waste when we urinate, and when we sweat (perspiration).

Immunity: Immunity refers to the body's ability to prevent the invasion of pathogens. Pathogens are foreign disease-causing substances, such as bacteria and viruses, and people are exposed to them every day. The immune system of a farmer isn't susceptible to diseases and infection because their body gets infected with these pathogen in their farms and fights against them, giving the farmers immunity over these organism in future infection.
